Alabama running back Jam Miller is listed as questionable for the SEC Championship Game, according to the availability report released Wednesday. Miller left the Iron Bowl on crutches after sustaining a lower-body injury.
In addition to Miller, tight ends Josh Cuevas and Danny Lewis Jr., along with left guard Kam Dewberry, are also listed as questionable. Both Cuevas and Dewberry are starters for the team.
On the defensive side, starting defensive lineman LT Overton, one of Alabama’s top pass rushers, has been ruled out for the game. Overton is the only new addition to the “out” list from a week ago among the starting players.
Miller has been Alabama’s leading running back this season, carrying the ball 123 times for 493 yards and three rushing touchdowns. Before his injury, he rushed for 83 yards on 15 carries—averaging 5.5 yards per carry—and caught two passes for 12 yards against Auburn. That performance was his best since the Missouri game, where he ran 20 times for 85 yards.
This Saturday, Alabama will face Georgia in the SEC Championship Game. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. CT on ABC at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The winner of the game will secure an automatic bid to the College Football Playoff.
