**Democrat Congressman Brad Sherman Photographed Viewing Explicit Images on Flight**
A Democrat congressman was recently pictured looking at sexually explicit photographs while on a plane, in full view of a visibly disgusted passenger. California Representative Brad Sherman, 71, was seen in images circulating on social media, ogling pictures of scantily clad women on his iPad during a flight.
An X user who first shared the images of Sherman on the aircraft posted to millions of followers:
“Why did California Congressman Brad Sherman feel it was appropriate to look at porn on his iPad during a flight today? His district deserves better representation than this!!”
The social media post included three photos of Sherman, who represents California’s 32nd congressional district, with his mouth agape as he viewed images of models in suggestive poses.
In an interview hours later, the congressman admitted to looking at the pictures but insisted he was merely scrolling through content on his tablet and had not intentionally viewed pornographic material.
“If I see a picture of a woman, might I look at it longer than a sunset? Yeah,” Sherman told Punchbowl News.
Sherman explained that he was on X’s “For You” page when he was photographed.
“I must’ve looked at more than 1000 posts,” he added.
The incident has sparked debate over the appropriateness of the congressman’s behavior while in public and the expectations of decorum for elected officials.
