Take, for example, a cat named River. This feline is best friends with a senior dog named Oakley. When their human started giving Oakley daily massages for physical therapy, River quickly became interested.
Since these massages were for therapeutic reasons, they didn’t always feel very good. River could sense Oakley’s discomfort and seemed to say to their human, “Move aside, you’re doing it wrong!”
