**Jonathan Owens, Husband of Simone Biles, Makes a Positive Impact in Chicago Community**
Jonathan Owens, husband of Olympic gymnast Simone Biles and safety player for the Chicago Bears, recently took a commendable step to give back to the community. Following the Chicago Bears’ hard-fought 24-20 victory against the New York Giants, Owens joined a large-scale distribution event aimed at supporting families in need ahead of Thanksgiving Day.
In a reel shared on the official Chicago Bears Instagram page, Owens announced his involvement in the charitable campaign. He stated, “So, today I partnered up with BBF and the K.W.D.E. foundation and we provided 750 turkeys and non-perishables for the [needy] families on the west side of Chicago. We were stopping the cars in the street, we were stopping the buses. Feels amazing, just to see the impact that you can make on the community. Just, like, you can see the smiles that you can put on the faces of the families and just know that you’re taking a little bit off to them this holiday.”
Owens was accompanied by Simone Biles’ adopted parents, Ronald and Nellie Biles, during the event. This charitable act comes at a busy time for Owens and the Chicago Bears, who are preparing for their upcoming game against the Minnesota Vikings on November 16.

**Simone Biles on Her Olympic Future: Family Comes First**
Simone Biles has previously opened up about the difficult decisions surrounding her potential return to the Olympics, emphasizing the importance of her family and her husband, Jonathan Owens. In an interview with Sports Illustrated earlier in 2025, the 28-year-old gymnastics legend shared her thoughts on what a comeback would mean for her personal life.
She reflected, “What sacrifices would be made if I go back now? When you’re younger, it’s like, prom, college. Now it’s like, starting a family, being away from my husband. What’s really worth it?”
As the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics approach, Simone Biles has neither confirmed nor denied her participation. If she does compete, she would be 31 years old, making her one of the oldest American female gymnasts to participate in Olympic gymnastics since Marian Barone, who competed at age 28 in the 1952 Helsinki Olympics.

Jonathan Owens’ charitable efforts and Simone Biles’ thoughtful reflections on family underscore the couple’s dedication not only to their careers but also to their personal values and community. Fans will undoubtedly be watching closely as both continue to make an impact both on and off the field and gymnasium.
