Stephanie Vaquer is currently one of the most popular female wrestlers in the world. Known as La Primera, she is in her first reign as Women’s World Champion, having defeated IYO Sky for the title at Wrestlepalooza earlier this year. She then went on to capture the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship by beating WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton.
Before achieving success on the main roster, the Chilean star made a massive impact in NXT, where she won both the NXT Women’s Championship and the Women’s North American Championship.
Recently, Vaquer gained attention for sending a heartfelt message to AEW star Alex Windsor, who celebrated her birthday on November 9. Windsor’s husband and All Elite Wrestling colleague, Will Ospreay, posted a birthday message for his wife on Instagram. Vaquer’s kind birthday wish on the post was warmly received by fans.

La Primera, who was the reigning NJPW Strong Women’s Champion at the time, made her AEW debut in May 2024, confronting TBS Champion Mercedes Mone. Shortly after, she made her in-ring debut on AEW Collision, where she faced a loss to Lady Frost.
Her time in AEW concluded at Forbidden Door 2024, where she lost a winner-takes-all match to the CEO.
