There are so many beautiful, rare wild cats out there that are just criminally underappreciated. Every time we come across them online or a story about one of them pops up, we feel it’s our duty to give them the love and appreciation they deserve.
Take the Pallas’ cat, for example — the perpetually grumpy, round, fluffy cat that we all wish we could have at home but simply can’t. Then there’s the rusty-spotted cat, the smallest wild cat in the world. Don’t let their size fool you; they are incredibly skilled hunters despite their diminutive stature.
Considering our general obsession with cats and the fact that we write about them all the time, we thought we had seen it all. But no! Just like the rest of the internet, over the Halloween weekend, we were blessed with a new wild cat popping up on our timelines.
Technically, this species isn’t new. The white Iberian lynx has been known to science for some time. However, no one had ever actually spotted one on camera — until now.
