CHARLESTON, Ill. (AP) — Jase Bauer connected with Bryce Bailey for a 6-yard touchdown on the first possession of overtime, giving UT Martin an early lead in the extra period.
Keyshawn Johnson then sealed the victory with a crucial fourth-down stop, securing a 27-20 win for UT Martin over Eastern Illinois on Saturday.
Earlier in the game, Bauer showcased his versatility by running for a 1-yard touchdown with just 46 seconds left in regulation, keeping UT Martin alive and forcing overtime.
