Kada Scott, 23, a local health care worker from Philadelphia, has been reported missing since the night of Saturday, October 4, 2025. Philadelphia police and community members have been actively searching for her in the hopes of finding any leads regarding her whereabouts.

Tragically, human remains were discovered on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in a shallow grave located in a wooded area behind the abandoned Ada H. Lewis Middle School in East Germantown, near the Awbury Arboretum. Deputy Commissioner John Stanford of the Philadelphia Police Department stated that the remains appeared to be approximately a week old or less.

Two sources have confirmed to NBC10 that the remains have been identified as belonging to Kada Scott.

The Philadelphia Police Department is currently asking for tips from the public that may assist in the investigation into this case. Anyone with information is encouraged to come forward.
