Kyler Murray puts Cardinals up 14-3 at end of first quarter

Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray showcased his dual-threat ability in the game against the Titans, setting up the team’s first touchdown with his arm and scoring the second with his feet. Murray sprinted 12 yards into the end zone, giving the Cardinals a 14-3 lead at the end of the first quarter. This marked his first rushing touchdown of the season and the 32nd of his career.

Although it initially appeared that Murray threw a touchdown to cap off the team’s first possession, replays revealed that wide receiver Marvin Harrison did not get into the end zone on a remarkable 43-yard catch, despite being well covered. Harrison has already recorded three catches for 79 yards as he aims to build on a strong finish from the team’s Week 4 loss to the Seahawks.

On the other side, Michael Carter ran for a touchdown just a few plays later, helping the Titans respond. The Titans managed to drive into field goal range on their opening drive but stalled after a pair of incompletions.

If the Titans’ defense does not improve its coverage on Murray, Harrison, and company, the offense may continue to struggle and settle for just three points.
