MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines is expected to remain “remarkably resilient” to external shocks despite the increased uncertainties brought about by changes in American tariff policies, according to the Japan Credit Rating Agency (JCR).

However, not all stakeholders share the same optimism. Some Philippine exporters have decided to suspend their shipments to the United States as they await further clarity on the evolving trade landscape.
