FIVB Men’s World: Czechia eliminates Brazil with sweep of China
MANILA, Philippines — Needing to win in straight sets to qualify, Czechia delivered a stunning performance against China in the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship.
Riding on Patrik Indra’s explosive 29-point effort, Czechia swept the match 26-24, 25-19, 25-18. Indra was unstoppable, unleashing 23 kills, four blocks, and two aces during the game held Thursday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
With this decisive victory, Czechia advanced to the round of 16, leaving China behind in the competition.
