**Drone Sightings Disrupt Munich Airport, Halt Flights and Impact Thousands**

On February 13, 2025, Munich International Airport experienced significant disruptions due to multiple drone sightings in the vicinity of the airspace. As a result, flight operations were temporarily halted, leading to delays and cancellations that affected thousands of passengers.

In response to the safety concerns, airport authorities diverted another 15 arriving flights to alternative airports including Stuttgart, Nuremberg, Vienna, and Frankfurt. The incident caused widespread inconvenience and highlighted the challenges airports face with unauthorized drone activity.
