**Anupam Kher, Supriya Pathak Join Ayushmann Khurrana and Sooraj Barjatya’s Upcoming Film**
Veteran actors Anupam Kher, Supriya Pathak, and Seema Pahwa have been cast in Sooraj Barjatya’s much-anticipated upcoming untitled film starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari. According to an insider, Barjatya has completed the script and is “excited to bring in a new arc to the character of Prem with Khurrana.”
The film promises a strong ensemble cast, with the source emphasizing the director’s intent to fill the project with “credible actors.” Casting legends like Kher, Pahwa, and Pathak is a significant step toward achieving that vision.
Production for the film is scheduled to take place from November 2025 through May 2026, with plans to release the movie in the second half of 2026.
Barjatya’s films are widely known for celebrating Indian culture, and this project will continue that tradition while incorporating modern elements. The insider shared, “The screenplay has strong humor too, and the entire team is looking forward to getting back on the sets with Barjatya.”
