Troubled Gucci gets new CEO as Luca de Meo takes over Kering

PARIS, France — Kering appointed Francesca Bellettini as the new head of its troubled Gucci label on Wednesday, coinciding with Luca de Meo taking over the reins of the French luxury group.

Bellettini, who has served as deputy CEO of Kering since July 2023, previously managed Yves Saint Laurent for more than a decade. She will now lead Gucci through its next chapter.
