MANILA, Philippines — Serbia stunned former World No. 2 Brazil with a straight-set victory, 25-22, 25-20, 25-22, to advance to the round of 16 in the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship on Thursday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Drazen Luburic led the major upset, delivering a sizzling performance with 19 points, including 17 kills and two aces. The Serbians finished Pool H on a high note, securing their spot in the knockout stage.
