**Accident on Worli-Bandra Sea Link Involving Taxi and Hyundai Verna**
Mumbai: An accident occurred on the Worli-Bandra Sea Link on Saturday involving a taxi and a Hyundai Verna car. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported. However, the taxi driver and a passenger sustained injuries and are currently in stable condition.
Both vehicles were traveling northbound when the incident took place. The Hyundai Verna collided with the taxi from behind, causing the taxi to overturn. Following the collision, the driver of the Hyundai Verna fled the scene.
### Accident Details
According to the Worli police, the accident happened at approximately 11:20 am on Saturday. A white Hyundai Verna and a taxi were traveling towards Bandra from Worli when the driver of the car lost control and struck the taxi, resulting in it overturning.
The taxi driver, Amjar Hussain Khan, 49, a resident of Mira Road (West), sustained leg injuries. Additionally, a passenger named Devilal Sony suffered contusion injuries to the toes of his right foot. Both individuals received immediate medical attention and have been reported to be in stable condition.
The taxi is owned by Mashaa Shaikh, who resides in Tardeo.
### Investigation and Police Response
Eyewitnesses informed the police that the car driver was accompanied by family members or several other individuals at the time of the incident. However, after the collision, neither the driver nor the passengers stopped to assist or provide their information.
The Worli police have registered a case against the car driver on charges of rash driving and other relevant offenses. They are currently examining CCTV footage from the area to trace and identify the driver responsible for the accident.
Authorities have urged anyone with further information to come forward and assist with the investigation.
