‘Puchna Toh Padega Na’: Rinku Singh Recreates Viral Reel After Arshdeep Singh’s Super Over Heroics In IND vs SL Asia Cup 2025 Clash; Video

Team India stars Rinku Singh, Arshdeep Singh, and Jitesh Sharma shared a fun moment after their thrilling victory over Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup 2025 Super 4 match held in Dubai.

Rinku recreated a viral reel following Arshdeep’s heroics in the Super Over by saying, “Puchna Toh Padega Na.” This was a reference to a recent clip of the left-handed batter with teammate Kuldeep Yadav that had gone viral, where he humorously asked, “10 waala biscuit ka packet kitne ka hai ji?” (How much does the Rs.10 biscuit packet cost?).

In a clip posted by Arshdeep, Rinku started off saying, “Super over ne Arshdeep ne 2 wicket liye, kisne liye ji?” (Arshdeep took two wickets in the Super Over, who took them?). In response, Jitesh asked, “Paagal vaagal ho gaya hai kya?” (Have you gone crazy?). Rinku then replied with a smile, “Puchna toh padega na” (Have to be asked).

On the cricketing front, Arshdeep Singh played a crucial role by dismissing Kusal Perera and Dasun Shanaka, leaving Team India just three runs to chase in the Super Over.

Arshdeep, who replaced Jasprit Bumrah in the lineup, had a challenging start as he conceded 26 runs without taking a wicket in his first two overs. However, the 26-year-old made a key breakthrough by taking the wicket of Kamindu Mendis in his third over and conceded only 11 runs in his final over, restricting Sri Lanka to 12 runs off the 20th over.

With the match eventually proceeding to a Super Over, captain Suryakumar Yadav put his trust in the left-arm seamer to deliver the goods. Arshdeep did not disappoint, dismissing Perera and Shanaka in the Super Over, helping the Men in Blue to secure a comfortable victory.

Looking ahead, India will face their arch-rivals Pakistan on Sunday for the Asia Cup title at the Dubai International Stadium. Suryakumar Yadav’s men will start as firm favorites, having beaten Pakistan twice already in the tournament and with their players in solid form.
