South Brunswick dominated early, taking a 4-1 lead by the first intermission and never looking back throughout the game. Travis Neves contributed two goals for South Brunswick, while Issaq Shakir-Trush added a goal along with three assists. Matt DePalma also made a significant impact, finishing with a goal and two assists.
In goal, Dakota Benenati was strong, finishing with 13 saves to help secure the win. South Brunswick (1-0) outshot West Windsor-Plainsboro South 57-16, showcasing their offensive pressure.
For West Windsor-Plainsboro South (0-1), Louis Barrandon was a bright spot, leading the team with two goals. Despite his efforts, the team was unable to overcome South Brunswick’s dominant performance.
