The Time Has Come Quest Walkthrough – Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC

The Time Has Come is the final quest of the Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC. It becomes accessible after completing the To Dust You Shan’t Return and Seek and You Shall Find quests. The main objective is to locate King Wenceslas’ medical records and confront Zacharias afterward. Depending on your actions, the quest’s ending will vary.

Accessing The Time Has Come Quest

After finishing the To Dust You Shan’t Return and Seek and You Shall Find quests, the monastery will be out of quarantine. This allows free movement within the area and access to new locations necessary for this quest.

Step 1: Speak with Ludolf and Acquire Your Armor

Begin by heading to the Knights of the Order camp located in the far west. Speak with Ludolf there, and collect your armor and helmet from the camp. These will prove helpful during the final stages of the quest.

Step 2: Where to Find King Wenceslas’ Medical Records

Your clue states that “the records are behind the scales.” To find them, navigate inside the monastery to the Abbot’s chapel. Entry is possible through the red door. Once inside, go behind the altar to locate and pick up King Wenceslas’ medical records.

Step 3: How to Forge King Wenceslas’ Medical Record

The key task involves learning to forge documents and applying this knowledge to create a fake medical record. This forged record can be used to convince Zacharias.

If you have the original medical record, proceed to the cellar and enter the scriptorium, where you can craft the fake document. Before forging, make sure to read the real medical records first via the Quest tab in your inventory.

When forging, select the following options for the fake record:

  • Without addressing.
  • Head and stomach pain.
  • Less drink.
  • Infertility.
  • Healthy lifestyle.

Step 4: The Final Confrontation with Zacharias

Before confronting Zacharias, it’s advisable to equip yourself with good weapons and armor as combat may ensue.

Head to the church area and wait for Zacharias to arrive. Depending on your interactions and the quality of the forged record, the quest concludes with one of two endings.

The Good Ending

Once Zacharias appears, choose one of the following dialogue options:

  • Give the forged medical records (only if forged correctly).
  • Give the real medical records.

After the ensuing cutscene, you will have to defeat one of Zacharias’ men. Then, proceed down into the crypt and continue southwards. At the pathway’s end, enter the southeast door. This door will initially be locked, but an enemy will soon appear from behind. Defeat him and take the key to unlock the door.

You can also obtain a painkiller brew from this enemy, which can be given to Zacharias later to trigger additional dialogue.

Continue through the door, move forward, then head west to encounter another enemy. Defeat this foe, proceed forward, and exit the cellar using the stairs.

A cutscene will then play, followed by a battle with Zacharias. After defeating Zacharias, engage in any dialogue choice to uncover his motives and receive the antidote for Albich.

With this good ending, Albich fully recovers and is empowered to save the remaining sick people in the monastery, ultimately restoring peace.

The Bad Ending

If you present a poorly forged medical record to Zacharias, he will dismiss it and laugh at you. The confrontation progresses similarly to the good ending, culminating in a fight with Zacharias.

However, the consequences are dire: Albich goes blind and becomes unable to help the sick, leading to many deaths within the monastery.

Step 5: Speak with Albich and the Abbot, Then Leave the Monastery

Once the final cutscene concludes, talk to both Albich and the Abbot. Conversations with Albich allow you various dialogue choices. When speaking to the Abbot, inquire about the monastery’s fate.

Make sure not to select the option “It makes no difference now” when responding that the relic will help, as this will cause a loss of reputation.

After these conversations, exit the Sedletz monastery through the western gate. This marks the completion of The Time Has Come quest and the Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC.

You may return to the Sedletz monastery later if you wish. Note that you should avoid carrying stolen items and be prepared to donate 300 Groschens to the guards to gain entry.
