### Where to Find Mint and Sage at the Monastery
To gather mint and sage, head to the gardens located on the eastern side of the monastery. The easiest way to get there is by starting at the library room, where Brother Crispin is usually found.
From the library, exit through the left door and make your way through the garden. Once outside, turn north and you’ll come across several herb patches tended by a monk. While the monk won’t say much, he will advise you to stay inside during the lockdown for your safety.
The mint can be identified in a patch on the right side; it is an all-green herb. The sage, which has distinctive purple and green leaves, is located a bit further north on the left side.
Once you have collected enough herbs, return to the library. Avoid continuing north, as there are private garden areas and a rotating patrol of guards who may catch you.
There should be plenty of mint and sage available to meet your needs. With these herbs, you can craft your own plague mask and even provide some to Brother Crispin to help keep you both safe during the outbreak.
