After tasting success at the box office, the courtroom drama *Jolly LLB 3*, starring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, is set to drop online this Friday, November 14. According to sources, its digital premiere is expected to be unique, as the film will be available on not just one but two streaming platforms.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Usually, a filmmaker signs an exclusive deal with only one streaming giant for his/her film. In case of *Jolly LLB 3*, it is expected to be available on two platforms – Netflix as well as JioHotstar. That’s the reason both platforms were mentioned in the opening slate of the film.”
However, it’s not immediately clear if *Jolly LLB 3* will be available on both platforms starting November 14 or if it will arrive on one streaming service first, followed by the other after a few weeks.
Recently, John Abraham’s taut thriller *Tehran* dropped on Zee5 on August 14 and was released on Netflix two weeks later, on August 28. *Tehran* was backed by Maddock Films, whose earlier titles such as *Mimi* (2021) and *Dasvi* (2022) were available simultaneously on Netflix and Jio Cinema from the very start. It remains to be seen which release model the makers of *Jolly LLB 3* have adopted.
### Changing Trends in Digital Releases
The digital space is witnessing flexible release strategies. For instance, the Tamil film *Viduthalai 2* streamed on both Zee5 and Amazon Prime Video, with a three-month window between the two premieres — first on Amazon Prime Video, followed later by Zee5.
Similarly, the Telugu film *Mazaka* was shared between the same two platforms but with a shorter 30-day gap. This time, it debuted on Zee5 before arriving on Amazon Prime Video.
As filmmakers explore different strategies to maximize their reach and revenue, *Jolly LLB 3*’s dual-platform release could set a new trend in the industry.
