AdHoc Studio is a late success story for a smaller developer in 2025, having achieved sales of over 1 million units with its new narrative title, *Dispatch*. Season 1 is set to wrap up this Wednesday, but the game is already the talk of the internet, with players praising its diverse characters and memorable moments.

With such a successful first season, the possibility of a second season is looking increasingly likely. AdHoc Studio co-founder and *Dispatch* co-director Nick Herman discussed the potential for Season 2 on the podcast *Friends Per Second*, as reported by GamesRadar.

According to Herman, the response to *Dispatch* has been more than enough to justify continuing the series. He shared some insight into the game’s unexpected success:

> “Just to give you a timeline of events, it was just a little under a week ago that *Dispatch* first released, which is to say that when the game launched, AdHoc Studio had no idea of what to expect. But this far in—with an Overwhelmingly Positive rating and over 1 million units sold in ten days—the game has fared extraordinarily well.”

Part of this success is attributed to *Dispatch*’s ability to capture the classic Telltale narrative game style while also delivering a streamlined experience that doesn’t waste players’ time, as noted by Senior Editor Ozzie Mejia.

With such strong momentum, fans have plenty to look forward to as the story unfolds—and possibly continues in a Season 2.
