INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Jalen Jackson scored 17 points to lead Butler to a decisive 112-80 victory over IU Indianapolis on Saturday. Jackson also contributed eight rebounds and four steals for the Bulldogs (2-0).

Azavier Robinson added 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the floor, along with six rebounds. Finley Bizjack finished with 13 points, shooting 3-of-6 from the field and 7-of-9 from the free-throw line.

For IU Indianapolis (0-3), Matt Compas led the way with 25 points and five steals. Finley Woodward added 12 points, six assists, and two steals, while Kyler D’Augustino contributed 11 points and three steals.

Butler took control of the game with 13:30 left in the first half, carrying a 51-38 lead into halftime. Jackson was instrumental in the first half, racking up 13 points.

The Bulldogs pulled away in the second half with an impressive 20-2 run. Bizjack led the charge in the final period, scoring a team-high nine points.
