Quincy Mayor Thomas Koch Faces Allegations of Illegal Campaign Contributions
QUINCY, MASS. (WHDH) — Quincy Mayor Thomas Koch is under scrutiny following allegations of illegal campaign contributions. According to state regulators, between 2022 and 2023, Koch accepted donations from businesses that are prohibited from giving directly to political candidates.
In response to the allegations, the Koch campaign has reached a settlement, agreeing to pay a total of $55,000. Of this amount, $15,000 has been directed to the state.
The situation highlights ongoing concerns about campaign finance regulations and enforcement at the local level.
