Nela Richardson, ADP’s Chief Economist and ESG Officer, as well as a Bloomberg Contributor, has described the recovery in the U.S. jobs market as “tepid.”
According to Challenger, Gray & Christmas Inc., companies announced a total of 153,704 job cuts last month, highlighting ongoing challenges within the labor market.
Despite these job cuts, Richardson notes that certain sectors—including transportation, utilities, and health care—are actively hiring.
She shared these insights during her appearance on “Bloomberg Surveillance.”
