One month after its release, Taylor Swift’s *The Life of a Showgirl* has hit a major milestone, logging an uninterrupted four weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. This achievement marks only the second album of 2025 to spend its first four weeks at the summit, following Morgan Wallen’s *I’m the Problem*, which led for its first eight weeks (and 12 weeks overall).
Swift’s fourth-week numbers are impressive, having earned a total of 146,000 album units in the United States during the week ending October 30, according to Luminate.
Swift’s closest competition on the Billboard 200 is the *KPop Demon Hunters* soundtrack, which has maintained its grip at No. 2 with 84,000 equivalent album units earned—a 12% decrease from the previous week. Notably, Wallen’s *I’m the Problem* holds steady at No. 3 with 76,000 units.
In addition to her Billboard 200 success, Swift continues to dominate the Hot 100, where her single “The Fate of Ophelia” stayed at No. 1 for a fourth consecutive week. On October 28, she released a special “Alone in My Tower (Acoustic Version)” of the track, available for digital purchase through October 30. This move helped fuel the song’s continued reign.
During the tracking week, “The Fate of Ophelia” amassed 29 million official streams, nearly 55 million radio airplay audience impressions, and 22,000 sales.
With both *The Life of a Showgirl* and “The Fate of Ophelia” leading the Billboard 200 and Hot 100 respectively for their first four weeks, Swift achieves a historic milestone: debuting at No. 1 on both charts simultaneously and holding both positions for an entire month. No other artist has ever reached this feat.
**New Releases on the Billboard 200**
Daniel Caesar scored his first top 10 album with *Son of Spergy*, which opened at No. 4 with 43,000 equivalent album units earned. Of this total, 26,000 units come from 34.11 million official streams, while album sales contribute 17,000 units.
Brandi Carlile’s latest album, *Returning to Myself*, debuted at No. 7 with 35,000 equivalent album units. Carlile appeared on *Saturday Night Live* over the weekend to support the release and performed her song “Church & State.”
Demi Lovato’s *It’s Not That Deep* entered the chart at No. 9 with 31,000 units earned—24,000 of which were album sales. Lovato will soon embark on the *It’s Not That Deep* tour, with scheduled dates across the United States and Canada.
