Former India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin heaped praise on the India Women’s team head coach Amol Muzumdar after Harmanpreet Kaur’s side created history by winning the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025.

He further noted that the past two years have been remarkable for Indian cricket, with the men’s team winning the 2024 T20 World Cup under Rahul Dravid and the women’s team now scripting history under Amol Muzumdar.

“You mentioned Amol Muzumdar, right? You directly connected it with Chak De! India and Shah Rukh Khan. But I actually want to explain sports in a real way.”
