**WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre Receives Offer to Join Juggalo Championship Wrestling After Recent Loss**

WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre has reportedly received an offer to join another wrestling promotion following his appearance on Saturday Night’s Main Event. The 40-year-old Scottish Warrior suffered a significant setback during the show, losing yet again in a major title match.

At Saturday Night’s Main Event, McIntyre unsuccessfully challenged Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. This marked McIntyre’s fifth failed attempt at capturing a world title since losing the World Heavyweight Championship to Damian Priest at WrestleMania XL. His recent booking in WWE has raised questions among fans and experts alike.

Adding to the buzz, wrestling veteran Vince Russo took to social media with a sarcastic message directed at McIntyre. In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), the 64-year-old Russo expressed interest in speaking with the former World Heavyweight Champion about joining Juggalo Championship Wrestling (JCW) after his WWE contract expires.

Russo mocked McIntyre’s current WWE booking and assured fans that things would be different in JCW. He tweeted:
“@DMcIntyreWWE would LOVE to discuss you coming to @jcwlunacy once your @wwe contract expires. You have my word—you won’t be booked like 💩💩💩!!!”

For those unfamiliar, Juggalo Championship Wrestling was founded by the Insane Clown Posse in 1999. Vince Russo was recently named an investor in the Detroit-based promotion, signaling a potential new chapter for the company.

### Drew McIntyre’s Journey Before WWE Return

Drew McIntyre originally returned to WWE in 2017, three years after his release. Prior to re-signing, he reinvented himself on the independent circuit and had a strong run in TNA Wrestling. During an appearance on the No Contest wrestling podcast, McIntyre revealed he was actually considering a move to New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) before opting to return to WWE.

He shared that wrestling legend William Regal advised him to speak with Triple H before making any decisions. Reflecting on the conversation with “The Game,” McIntyre stated that within moments he realized returning to WWE was the right move:
“Then in 2017, before I returned to WWE, I was ready to go to New Japan at that point—that’s where my head was at. I spoke to the right people to start having serious conversations, and Regal told me, you gotta talk to Hunter first, gotta talk to Paul first. And one minute into that conversation, I knew it was time to come back.”

### What’s Next for Drew McIntyre?

As 2025 continues, Drew McIntyre has been chasing championship gold without success. With his recent loss at Saturday Night’s Main Event and the public offer from Vince Russo and JCW, many are wondering what the future holds for the SmackDown star.

Will McIntyre continue to fight for titles in WWE, or will a new opportunity in Juggalo Championship Wrestling or elsewhere beckon? Only time will tell.
