When you reach the building (as shown in the image attached in-game), make sure to thoroughly search the drawers of the desks inside. There’s no specific drawer to focus on since any of them can potentially contain the Blue Gate Cellar Key.
Because the Blue Gate Cellar Key is an Uncommon item, you might not find it on your first attempt. Make it a habit to check the Ruby Residence every time you play a match on the Dam Battlegrounds, and eventually, you’ll come across it.
If you do find the key, it’s highly recommended to place it in your Safe Pocket. This precaution helps ensure you don’t lose the key if you fail to extract successfully.
How to Use the Blue Gate Cellar Key
The Blue Gate Cellar Key opens the cellar door located on the southern side of the map. You can find the cellar just south of Ruined Homestead and Olive Grove, nestled against a hill and next to a rock wall.
As you approach the cellar’s location, slow down and carefully survey the area. The cellar blends seamlessly into the environment, making it easy to overlook. A useful landmark is the caged shed on top of the hill near the cellar — if you spot this, you know you’re close.
Be cautious near Ruined Homestead, as this area is usually swarming with Arc enemies. You might need to loop around and crouch your way to the cellar to avoid detection.
Blue Gate Cellar Key Rewards
Since the Blue Gate Cellar Key is an Uncommon item and not Epic-tier, the loot inside won’t be the absolute best. However, it still contains valuable items that are typically harder to find while exploring the map.
During one of my visits to the Blue Gate Cellar, I found items such as Firm Reel, Advanced Electrical Components, Sensors, Mechanical Components, and some grenades. I was even lucky enough to discover the Venator I pistol blueprint, which allows me to craft a Rare gun capable of firing two shots at a time.
