A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found shot to death in Compton on Tuesday night.
Los Angeles County deputies responded to the 100 block of East Rosecrans Avenue shortly after 6:30 p.m. Upon arrival, deputies discovered the victim, identified only as an adult male, lying on the ground unresponsive.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Further details have not been released as the investigation continues. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
