Golden State Warriors rookie Will Richard appeared in his second game Thursday night as they faced off against the Denver Nuggets. Coming off a strong debut on Tuesday against the LA Lakers, Richard aimed to improve his performance against Denver.

In his previous game, Richard contributed five points, one rebound, one assist, and one steal. He was efficient from the floor, making both of his shot attempts, including one three-pointer and one basket inside the arc.

Fast forward to Thursday, Richard checked in late in the first quarter. While his contributions were limited this time around, teammate Jimmy Butler worked tirelessly to keep the Warriors within striking distance. Butler scored nine points, helping maintain a close score as Denver held a 31-27 lead heading into the next period.
