**Tragic Accident in Arjun Baroda Village: Man Dies After Being Hit by Recklessly Driven Truck**
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A man critically injured after being struck by a recklessly driven truck in Arjun Baroda village on Tuesday night has succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday morning. His wife and two children continue to receive treatment at a local hospital.
According to the Kshipra police station, Ankit Devda (40), a resident of Gandhi Nagar area in Indore, was traveling on a bike with his wife Rupali, three-year-old son Goransh, and five-year-old daughter Hanshika. They were returning to the city from Dewas when the accident occurred around 7 pm near Arjun Baroda village.
Eyewitnesses reported that their bike skidded near an under-construction bridge and came under the truck’s wheel. The bike got stuck, critically injuring Ankit and his children. Despite efforts to save him, Ankit died during treatment at the hospital.
The police are currently trying to record the statement of Ankit’s wife to ascertain the exact circumstances surrounding the accident.
Following the incident, the injured were rushed to the hospital, and the truck driver was arrested. The truck, which was carrying biscuits from Arjun Baroda to Kukshi in Dhar district, was seized by authorities. The driver, a resident of Mangliya area, is now in police custody as further action is being taken against him.
The investigation continues as the police work to piece together the details of this unfortunate accident.
