Actor-director Rishab Shetty recently opened up about an extraordinary collaboration with Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh for the film *Kantara Chapter 1*. In an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Shetty revealed that Dosanjh canceled his shows and even took his entire team to rewatch the movie, showcasing his deep admiration for the project.

**How the Collaboration Came About**

Shetty was in Kochi for post-production work on *Kantara* when he had a spontaneous idea to bring in a singer from outside Karnataka—a strong voice that could elevate the film’s soundtrack. “I suddenly thought of Diljit, but I got stuck as I couldn’t remember his name,” Shetty recalled. He believed Diljit would be the perfect fit to sing the iconic track *Bole Re Kantara*.

Upon reaching out to Dosanjh’s manager, Shetty was delighted to learn that the singer was not only fond of him but had also canceled his shows to watch *Kantara* multiple times. “Within three to four days, the plan fell into action, and he came to YRF to record the song,” Shetty added.

**A Spiritual Connection**

After recording the track, Dosanjh asked Shetty for a private conversation, during which the singer shared how watching *Kantara* resonated deeply with his personal beliefs. “He’s a big Shiv bhakt like me,” Shetty revealed. “It felt like a divine connection—it was divine energy that led him to *Kantara* and brought us together.”

Shetty expressed how Diljit’s powerful vocals infused the song with positivity and energy, enhancing the film’s spiritual tone.
