‘Zindagi Ke Saath Bhi, Zindagi Ke Baad Bhi’: Auto Driver Narrowly Escapes Crushing Death As Huge ‘LIC’ Banner Hoarding Collapses – VIDEO Surfaces
**Mumbai, October 02:**
A shocking video has surfaced on social media showing an auto-rickshaw driver narrowly escaping a potentially fatal accident. His swift reaction and quick timing saved his life just moments before disaster struck.
The viral clip captures the dramatic moment when a massive hoarding collapsed onto the auto-rickshaw. The driver managed to jump out of the vehicle seconds before the huge Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) banner fell, crushing the rickshaw beneath it.
### Incident Details
The video, widely circulated on social media, shows the massive hoarding toppling—allegedly due to heavy rains. The auto-rickshaw was traveling in the same direction as the falling structure. When the hoarding started to tilt, the driver immediately applied the emergency brakes and hurriedly exited the vehicle. Moments after his escape, the hoarding crashed down, completely crushing the auto-rickshaw.
### Timely Escape
The driver’s alertness and quick response saved him from being seriously injured or worse. He was just inches away from being trapped under the heavy structure. Thankfully, his timely reaction averted a major tragedy.
The hoarding, which resembled a gate-like structure, was positioned in the middle of the road. Notably, another vehicle coming from the opposite direction was also crushed under the fallen hoarding.
### Onlooker Raises Alarm
The video also shows an onlooker filming the event as the hoarding was collapsing. This individual raised an alarm, which warned the auto-rickshaw driver and prompted his escape.
### Location & Authenticity
While it is currently being claimed that the incident took place in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, the exact location remains unconfirmed. FPJ does not vouch for the authenticity of the video at this time.
### Similar Incident in the Past
This incident brings to mind a tragic hoarding collapse in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar area, which reportedly claimed the lives of 17 people and injured 75 others.
Authorities and citizens alike hope that timely alerts and careful safety measures can prevent such accidents in the future.
