**Panvel Municipal Corporation Celebrates 9th Anniversary with Cultural Programs and Competitions**

Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) marked its 9th anniversary on Monday by organizing a vibrant series of cultural programs and competitions exclusively for its employees. The civic body is set to officially enter its 10th year on October 1, 2025.

**Inaugural Ceremony**

The celebrations commenced with an inaugural ceremony led by Additional Commissioner Maheshkumar Meghmale, who offered prayers to the idol of Nataraj. The event was graced by Deputy Commissioner Swaroop Kharge, Chief PRO Dr. Raju Patodkar, Sports and Cultural Department Head Haresh Jadhav, PRO Nitin Sake, Varsha Kulkarni, alongside officers and staff from the Education Department.

Throughout the day, employees participated enthusiastically in a variety of contests, including rangoli making, self-composed poetry recitation, mimicry and acting performances, singing, fancy dress, ukhane (traditional couplet recitation) for women, and musical chairs.
