Dr.V.N.BRIMS Hosts Memorable Alumni Meet 2025: A True Homecoming
The campus of BRIMS came alive on Sunday as it welcomed back its alumni for the much-anticipated Alumni Meet 2025. More than just a reunion, the event was celebrated as a true homecoming, filled with nostalgia, inspiration, and renewed bonds.
The meet commenced with words of wisdom from Dr. Nitin Joshi, Director, who highlighted the institute’s remarkable journey over the past decade. He proudly announced that BRIMS has recently achieved autonomy— a milestone that opens new avenues for academic excellence and industry collaboration.
Dr. Gurupasad Murthy, Director General, emphasized in his address how BRIMS can continue to be a partner in growth for its alumni by providing opportunities to upskill and reskill in today’s fast-changing world. Adding to this, Dr. Smita Jape, Academic Dean, reflected on various ways alumni could give back to their alma mater—through on-the-job training (OJT), consultancy, mentorship, and other collaborative initiatives.
The event then unfolded into a vibrant mix of activities. A musical game set the tone of fun and camaraderie, followed by a thought-provoking session on the Power of Mind. The expert speaker guided participants on the art of manifestation and the strength of the subconscious mind, leaving the audience deeply inspired.
A surprise highlight of the evening was the performance by the institute’s official musical band, “RaagRhythm,” which enthralled the gathering with a soulful performance. The alumni, moved by the music, cherished the joy of being back on campus.
The Alumni Relations Team (ART) added a special touch by unveiling the “BRIMS Wall of Fame,” a dedicated platform to celebrate distinguished alumni who have made their mark in various fields.
The day concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Ms. Shweta Nair and Asst. Prof. Prathmesh U. Tawade, acknowledging the presence and active participation of alumni and partners. The event was seamlessly hosted by Asst. Prof. Aditi Damle-Pawar and Ms. Shirin Purohit, whose engaging presence kept the energy alive.
Adding to the nostalgic atmosphere was the Memory Lane, a walkway lined with photographs of past batches, which transported alumni back to their student days and left them reminiscing about cherished memories.
The success of the event was further supported by its partners—Upgrad as the Gifting Partner, HSB as the Luxury Partner, MAXXSHIELD Risk Management as the Wealth Partner, and TJSB Bank as the Banking Partner.
The Alumni Meet 2025 not only rekindled old connections but also strengthened the bridge between BRIMS and its alumni, ensuring that the legacy of learning, growth, and togetherness continues to flourish.
