Indian T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav has recorded his 23rd duck in T20 cricket. The 35-year-old was dismissed for a three-ball duck against Pakistan in a crucial Super 4 match at the Men’s T20 Asia Cup 2025 held in Dubai.

During India’s chase of 172 runs, Haris Rauf claimed Suryakumar’s wicket. Despite this early setback, India went on to secure a 6-wicket victory over Pakistan.

In the 11th over of India’s innings, Haris Rauf bowled a full delivery on the off side with a slight angle in. Suryakumar shuffled across to play his favorite leg-side flick, but the ball took a leading edge and was caught by Abrar Ahmed, ending the captain’s innings prematurely.
