Security Bank to raise P5B from bond market

MANILA, Philippines – Security Bank Corp. announced plans to raise at least P5 billion from the debt market to support its lending activities and expand its funding base.

In a regulatory filing on Monday, the bank revealed that the five-year fixed-rate peso bond offer would carry a yield of 6 percent per year.

The offer period is set to run shortly, providing investors an opportunity to participate in the bond issuance.
