**‘My Biggest Achievement’: Priyadarshan Recalls Working with Salman Khan and Govinda**

Veteran filmmaker Priyadarshan, known for his extensive work in Bollywood and Malayalam cinema spanning over four decades, recently shared insights about his experiences working with iconic actors Salman Khan and Govinda.
Surprisingly, Priyadarshan revealed that his “biggest achievement” is not the prestigious Padma Shri award but rather completing films with these stars on schedule. Speaking to Pinkvilla, he said, “My biggest achievement is working with Govinda and Salman (Khan) on time and finishing it in one or two schedules.”
### Working with Salman Khan and Govinda
Priyadarshan directed Salman Khan in *Kyon Ki* and Govinda in *Bhagam Bhag*. He has also collaborated with Shah Rukh Khan in the 2009 comedy *Billu*. Reflecting on his experiences, he noted, “There was a fear brought into my mind by other people that they don’t come on time. But both of them [Govinda, Salman] were very sweet. They came on set at 7:00 am. SRK used to tell me, ‘I’ll be there at 10:00 am,’ so the unit would say even if he comes by 10, it’s a big thing.”
### Trust and Comfort with Actors
Priyadarshan also touched upon his comfort level while working with different actors. He expressed his satisfaction working with Shah Rukh Khan and Govinda but highlighted a special ease he shares with Akshay Kumar and Mohanlal.
“I was very happy with Shah Rukh or Govinda. I won’t say they’re bad actors. The only thing is I was very comfortable with Akshay Kumar and Mohanlal. They both never ask me what I’m doing. When I go to them with a film, they ask me, ‘Are you excited?’ When I say yes, they say, ‘Let’s do the film.’ When they trust you, it’s my responsibility to deliver,” he explained.
### Upcoming Collaborations with Akshay Kumar
Looking ahead, Priyadarshan is set to reunite with Akshay Kumar after 16 years since their 2010 film *Khatta Meetha*. Their upcoming project is the horror comedy *Bhooth Bangla*, scheduled to hit theaters next year.
In addition, they are working together on the thriller *Haiwaan*, which also features Saif Ali Khan. The duo is also planning to collaborate on the much-anticipated comedy *Hera Pheri 3*.
Meanwhile, the filmmaker hopes to mark his 100th film milestone by working with Mohanlal again.
With such exciting projects lined up, fans eagerly await more memorable films from the legendary director.
