Western Railway Announces 4-Hour Jumbo Block Between Vasai Road & Virar On September 20-21 Night

To carry out essential maintenance work on tracks, signaling, and overhead equipment, Western Railway will impose a Jumbo Block of four hours on the UP and DOWN slow lines between Vasai Road and Virar stations.

The block will be in effect from 00:15 hrs to 04:15 hrs during the intervening night of Saturday/Sunday, 20th/21st September 2025.

According to Vineet Abhishek, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, all slow line suburban trains will be rerouted to run on the fast lines between Vasai Road and Virar stations during this block period.

Please note that some suburban trains will remain cancelled during the maintenance block. Detailed information is available at the concerned Station Masters’ offices.

**Important:** There will be no block during the daytime over the Western Railway suburban section on Sunday, 21st September 2025.
